Start your day in Holme-next-the-sea
The best way to spend a day on the North Norfolk Coast starts at The White Horse Bakery in Holme-next-the-Sea for a suitably stylish pastry and a walk on the beach if time permits.
After breakfast head down the road for a stop at Drove Orchards for a potter round the shops, antiques & farm shop.
Next on the itinerary is an optional stop at Thornham Old Quay
Soak in the skies over the saltmarsh, watch the waders and walk around the ancient tree stumps.
Get back on the road and carry on down the coast to Holkham Beach to breathe deeply and get your fix of those famous sweeping Norfolk skies.

Finally, wend your way to Byford's and check in, take a break, and soak up the atmosphere in Henry's Bar. Order Byfords takeaway pizzas and take them to Cley beach.
After dinner with a view, head over to Blakeney for a sunset walk along the quay or coastal path as the sun goes down. Head back to Byford's and relax deeply in your room.
